The New Year
So, I didn't wind up doing a blog post yesterday. I'll chalk that up partially to forgetfulness, and partially to not being home. Yesterday I was at my ladyfriend's house (like I am a lot), and it didn't really cross my mind to get on her computer. I am rather certain that I am part Italian, because we made pizza yesterday and it was pretty much delicious. Today I'm getting ready to have some people over to kick in the new year, so I'm cleaning the house to make it all shiny. I just kinda caught a break in it, so I decided to make up for yesterday. I'm getting ready to get back at it, and I hope everyone has an awesome New Year's eve (unless you're Chinese, you will get yours at the appropriate time), and don't do anything too dumb. The question for today: What is your biggest New Year's Resolution?

The Anticipated Return
It's been awhile hasn't it? Well, let me tell you a nice Christmas story. One day I decided to wait to blog until I got my sweet new computer to make it all the more awesome. So, on Christmas day I finally got the parts I needed to make my computer work like a charm. Then, it didn't work and made me angry. THE END (based on a true story). So, I've been waiting for naught. I'm having to get it looked at and I might not get it fixed for a while, so for the next while I'll be dealing with spiraling depression. Otherwise my Christmas ruled. The break from school is still going on, so other than my computer, the world is good. According to the poll that like 3 people voted on, you guys want videos. I'll hop on that, but until I get the computer back that's a no go. Otherwise, I've just been relaxing at the house, and being cool like usual. So, since I'm having to jump back on the blogging wagon I don't have as much to talk about. My question for you now is: How awesome was your Christmas (or other holiday you celebrate)?

Backing Up
So you may have noticed that I didn't have a blog post on Friday. No, I wasn't kidnapped or fighting hordes of zombie sharks at my front door, I just have a memory like a goldfish, and didn't remember to write a post. Let's kick this post off with what should have been Friday. Thursday, I didn't really do anything noteworthy (that i can think of off the top of my head), and Friday was about the same. Let's be honest here, I don't really remember what I did either of those days. Saturday I headed over to my ladyfriend's house, where we made quite possibly the most delicious (and huge) pizza ever. I think the crust was legitimately as thick as my wrist. I also downloaded Super Mario Bros. and Mega Man 3, both of which make me want to hurl myself off of a cliff. Sunday I had my family's Christmas celebration, where I got a sweet $30 and a beautiful UCM hoody. I also managed to beat the first castle on Super Mario Bros., and no levels whatsoever on Mega Man. Today was pretty average. It rained, there was class, and I ate meatballs for lunch. Since I've stuck to Twitter about as well as many obese people stick to diets, I'm not going to use Twitter for random updates about my day. Instead, I will use it for my opinions on stuff (like Wednesday's post). Today's question: If you were to pick out the main character in a video game, what would it be?

Quickie
Ok, so I posted yesterday and have done practically nothing in the meantime. Instead of a real post, here is a short list of things I have opinions on. Burritos are good, fish are boring, and Tron kind of sucked. That is all.

Quiz Time!
Pop quiz! Why did I start this blog? No, it's not because I'm just super cool like that (though I am), It was for my senior project. Since I haven't said much (or anything) about it in a while, I'm supposed to give you the report on it. So, I have most of my parts ordered, shipped, and in my house (specifically in my closet). I'm still getting a case and the nice operating system (which is kind of a bank buster for us legal people). I will put green LED's in it to make it shine as radiantly as a thousand toaster ovens. It will browse the internet faster than a mongoose can maul a cobra, and outperform even the nicest calculators. In the meantime, I'm going to fill out more scholarships than you can shake a stick at so that I dont have to live in a box during college.

Another One Down
Another week, another Monday. Maybe not the most optimistic way to look at it, but it's better than, "Another week, another beginning day of the work week that I loathe with all my being." So I must say, you know that feeling when you absolutely know you've hit blogging gold? Well, I'm yet to hit that, but I at least have a little to talk about. Christmas isn't about getting presents. It's about rubbing the fact you know what someone else is getting in their face for the weeks leading up to Christmas day. This is exactly what I get to do with my ladyfriend's brother for a while. Also, she gets to do the same to me. We also went on a sweet double date, where I proceeded to bowl my best game ever with a whopping 131 (applause will be graciously accepted). All in all, my weekend was pretty sweet. Today found a nice way to get on my nerves though. As I went to comment on another blog, I found that I couldn't. I tried and tried to figure out what I was doing wrong, and I came to a conclusion. Either A) I am an idiot or B) someone that controls Blogger has decided to pull the most random prank on me. It's really frustrating, and if anyone has the slightest idea on what I'm doing wrong feel free to tell me. As protocol dictates, I'm going to leave you with the usual question: If you were a part of Congress, what food would you pick out to be part of a certain group next (in regards to Congress making the brilliant decision to call pizza a vegetable)?

Heading Out
It's almost the weekend, and once again It is going to be awesome (mostly becasue I'm not going to be in school). Yesterday was pretty cool. School was relatively easy and afterwards, I didn't really do a whole lot. I played some more of that sweet sweet Marble Blast Ultra (which took pretty much forever since the Xbox interface changed and I couldn't rememeber my password). The time war between my brother and I has escalated to new heights (new heights being the intermediate levels), and unfortunately he is pulling ahead. As for today, I found out that spoons can bring out the rage in a person. A relentless, oddly based rage. Not the most exciting update, but being interesting every day of the week is much harder than you think. So, this weekend I plan to go out and have some sort of sweet adventure that I can report back. This whole vlog idea is growing on me, and I'm really thinking I'm going to do it (just FYI vlog stands for video log. kind of like a blog but with videos.) . I just need to actually get a video camera. When I do though, it'll be all sorts of awesome. I just need a little direction on what to do, so chime in if you feel like it. Today's question is: If you had to survive during the zombie apocolypse, what would be your weapon of choice?

Hump Day
I don't think there could have been a worse name picked for Wednesday. Sure, it's the middle of the week, but that doesn't really have anything to do with a hump. "Oh but the week is kind of like a hill and its the top." Actually, I see the days of the week more like one of those pill holders that old people have. That's only really because its a bunch of boxes labeled with the days of the week really. Besides, in my opinion, 'Hump Day' sounds kind of dirty. To improve on the whole 'Hill Model' thing, I would see it as more of a cliff. You're at the bottom of the cliff on Monday, and you slowly progress to the top of the cliff, which represents the weekend. Then on the next Monday, you jump off the the cliff, hit the bottom, and start on the next one. Now on to business. Yesterday, I got handed somewhere of the vicinity of 50 scholarships (maybe a little less) that I have to fill out. Good times. I also decided that I'm going to post on here (hopefully) every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The rest of school went by pretty slow, and then my ladyfriend and brother had basketball games, so I was pretty much bored to tears. I did however get Marble Blast Ultra (which I forgot to mention Monday) so at least I had a little bit of something to do. I got some sweet times, and if you want to compare them, my XBLA account is Britton0014 (go figure). That sums up what has happened so far. Question for today: If you got in a fight, and your only weapon was one item of food, what would it be?

That Time
Once again, it is time for my weekend update! Honestly not a whole lot has been going on. Since it's nearly Chrstmas time, I helped put up the Christmas tree at my ladyfriend's house. I must say, it looked pretty sweet. We put lights outside as well, and I think I managed to break two of the bulbs. It was also raining, and I got wet enough that it soaked through my jacket and got my shirt wet. I'm a little confused though, because my ladyfriend was out in the rain more (I'm not a bad person) and while she got wet, I managed to get wetter. I got to have awesome hot chocolate though, so it makes up for it. Sunday, I once again had supper with my family, and like always my cousin had to be all weird. Really that covers all of the events of interest, so I'll start with my new train of thought. I haven't really done anything about the computer recently (which is why I'm making this in the first place), so I started thinking about it again. Finding stuff to make a case from scratch is apparently next to impossible, so I started thinking about alternatives. That's when it hit me; I could modify a briefcase to be the awesomest computer ever. It's more practical than one might think and I'm really considering it. Consequently, that's the topic of today's question. What is the coolest think you can think of to modify into a computer? I might consider some of the ideas since finding a good briefcase sucks as well.

Awesome New Discovery
I have indeed made an awesome new discovery. I have discovered that I absolutely can't stand writing about historical stuff. Don't get me wrong, history can be interesting and whatever (sometimes). I just don't like to write on the subject. So, let me get you up to speed with what I've been up to. First off, I have really been considering the whole vlog thing (not that I have any sort of equipment to do it), but it's the thought that counts, right? The main thing I was thinking about was what I would do a vlog about. I mean, is a vlog just you taping yourself doing random stuff during the day? I kind of had an idea what I could do but I'm not sure if it count as a vlog. But who cares, it's my video and I'll do what I dern well please. I've been looking up more scholarship stuff (yes that's what the historical essay is about) and I'm actually finding a few that I would like to apply for (mostly because there's no essay involved). As usual, I've been spending my evenings with my ladyfriend. I must say, her cats love me as if I was their mother (which is kind of weird if you think about it). School is well...school. Nuff said. Oh, and a couple of my friends have started blogs (they're the ones that follow me...and have pictures similar to mine), so you can go check that out if you want to. Nothing to rant about, so I'll leave you with a whopping two questions this time (they're so important!) First, the more serious, less fun question. Should I post more often on here? Now, the other, less boring question. If you had to be a rancher (you know like...have a ranch) of some type of animal, what would it be and why?
